This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our website at anchoredlogic.com and our consulting services.

We are committed to handling personal information responsibly and in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

  • Technical data collected passively through our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via standard server logs or analytics tools

We do not collect sensitive personal information (health data, financial account numbers, government identifiers) unless required by a specific engagement and with your explicit consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Disclosure of Information

We may share personal information in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Third-party tools we use to operate our business (scheduling, invoicing, communication) may process your data on our behalf. These providers are required to protect your information consistent with this policy.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
  • Business transfers: In the unlikely event of a sale or merger, personal information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these tools if you have questions about how they handle your data.

6. Data Storage and Security

Personal information is stored on secure systems with access limited to those who need it to carry out our work. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data may be stored on servers located in Canada or the United States. Where data is transferred outside Canada, we take steps to ensure it receives comparable protection.

7. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Client project records are generally retained for seven years following engagement close. Website inquiry data is retained for up to two years.
